When on your way you go, You don't need a manifesto In heavy leather bound, Except for throwing down And here comes Stagger Lee, Says you know that song about me A deed I can't disown, The rest is overblown Don't asterisk my win, And don't sugar up my Mickey Finn Leave me in the sun, Procure for me someone So says the contract rider, So says the contract rider So says the contract rider, So says the contract rider
2.
I breathe this time, with a shine in space The sun is so bright, as the stars light the sky With every crisp air, the music rings on While the party takes, the people stare through I fall down, They turn and drive in I breathe the air, so stale with a straw The moon hides away, with the gift of flavor The colors taste like fire, without the burn so bright It’s going to be alright, as the music rings on I fall down, They turn and drive in I stand up, They dance with no eyes I breathe this time, with a shine in space The sun is so bright, as the stars light the sky

On the far side of the door, pretty Eleanor Singing songs never sung I'll dance with the one I brung The very soul of lassitude, she called me "dude" All God's children got guns--they know how to use them All God's children got guns--they know how to use them She touched him like he was Braille; he stood still But the evidence won't burn--ashes in an urn To the skies their faces rise--don't folks realize All God's children got guns--they know how to use them All God's children got guns--they know how to use them

50 Years 04:52
I see you, With a smile, The deal slips through As we laugh, With a stream, The old times last These linked times, Dies with, With a blast Waiting For the Time Years and Years and Years I see you, The snapping stops, feelings towed These old times, The well is dry, Trash so full I see you, With a smile, And now it ends Waiting For the Time Years and Years and Years It’s always bizarre, It’s perfect for now As the flashing flares up, this disaster rolls on With the papers produced, Take the second car
5.
It's the morning that they're calling the last recruits Send them away with no warning or hope of return 'til they learn All sides are drawn the same When the names are decided it's a mystery Don't like not knowing the reason they're going It's not plain to see, Left on their own When the dust storm clouds form around If they're lucky enough to make it home They won't remember a thing 'til the spring passes by Left out on their own When the dust storm clouds form around Only one chance to escape the impending collapse If they come back they will always be known as the last
6.
Going back and forth with no direction in mind, Not on the emergency call lists anymore The payments are considered for another year, But the department may ask not to return Have a question in mind, Don’t call because no one will answer I’ll monitor these actions for a while, For no one will be around Terms of endearment lost to gain With another blow to the base The Central Station signal is received While you just whistle away Sky divers jumping up instead of down, for no directions come to mind Assassins sign up for peace, while the night watchman laughs away The agents call it quit, for this is temporarily sane 24 hours pass, Don’t worry for this won’t last Terms of endearment lost to gain With another blow to the base The Central Station signal received While you just whistle away Terms of endearment lost to gain With another blow to the base The Central Station signal received The Central Station signal received

July Is Over 03:11
I know you want to forget everything But I can tell you the trouble it brings Hold the door open and don't let it take too long Take me away to those warm summer days Everything seemed like an endless parade July is over the ice age is on the way Tell me you want to I know you won't Leave this town and forget all you know Faraway places are singing their siren song This is the last time I can explain What it means to be left out again Hope it's not too late to rewrite the final plan
8.
Tape Loop 02:43
Ahhhhh Ooooo
9.
Mountains will rise 'til they reign over the sky, Everest shines Ten miles high can't see the summit from here Though the horizon is clear Natural wars closing the ocean's gray doors, Never to see Words on the wall predict to oncoming fall I will try to stand tall Time passes by and the seasons change But the way I feel will stay the same You are the one I can't live without Even if you're living with someone else Volcanoes form turning the curtains to dust, Seeds of mistrust Houses in flames, Smoke lingers over the plain All of the land will remain
10.
Commit to the freaks To no avail The streets go to the kids Scene on TV is on loop But all the figureheads dance Like dunces once again The pace of the beast Ends without noise They can’t hear They can’t swim They can’t taste It could be worse At least it’s not me Hide away In front this TV In the basement The thoughts are pure Been watching for awhile Screw it I’m bored They can’t hear They can’t swim They can’t taste They can’t hear They can’t swim They can’t taste

Studio 54 04:37
Clementine, there are two travelers on the road tonight They have no English like you'd recognize Only a million words for cold Even so, they saw the empire rise and then plateau They'd draw a knife across another throat To keep their love from growing old

about

Medical Maps is a band from the Boston area with a sound that crosses many genres. With touches of prog rock, indie pop, post rock and folk the material has something to offer to a diverse set of listeners. The signature sounds of the band are the swirling Fender Rhodes of Afshin Beheshti and the slide guitar work of Eric Provonsil. Many songs feature both while others have more of a rock sound with Beheshti switching to guitar. He has performed with Shore Leave, Divided Body and solo project The Afrosheens, playing many other instruments including mandolin and saxophone. Provonsil has previously employed his slide stylings with Tony the Bookie Orchestra and Broken River Prophet and is a frequent guest of the Thalia Zedek band. His mid 2000's band The Subject shared many a bill with Shore Leave planting the seeds for a future collaboration.

Beheshti and Provonsil began writing songs together in 2012. After several rhythm section permutations the lineup solidified in 2015 with the addition of Greg Mahoney and Cotten Seiler on bass and drums respectively. Mahoney is the bassist for garage rockers Triple Thick. Seiler, is also a singer/songwriter and has brought his songs and vocals to the mix. He has previously played with the band T*Shirt. The group has recently put the finishing touches on their debut full length release recorded at the Soul Shop in Medford, MA with engineer Elio Deluca. There is quite a bit of variety in the selection of songs from the pastoral feel of "Contract Rider" to the guitar workout of "Unbelievable Concinnity on TV" and the 7/8 jangle pop of "All God's Children Got Guns".

Medical Maps’ debut album, “Soft on Crime”, is a fresh new sound which will unite fans of all genres and will provide hours of listening enjoyment for all.
