1.
Seems just like another day But the birds gave gone away Up the coast to different shores Time to fight another war When the lights come over And I leave my body Stop the waves from rushing in Let the reckoning begin We are judged by what we bring Never have to say a thing When the lights come over And I leave my body Drift away and never look back to the past Make it one more year Generous and welcoming Only when they pull the strings
2.
Sonic hearts going for a ride She seems to know what they want Mono runs in a stereo world I can’t play this tune again Now they’re coming back As we wait outside Now they’re coming back And this is about to end Radio quintets are past Fire above with no alarms Latex sleeps for another year For now it’s a hit song Now they’re coming back As we wait outside Now they’re coming back And this is about to end
3.
Its already here its already there Find out about this find out about Everything that's been happening Turn off the TV keep your mind free Sound off the alarm take cover from Everything that's been happening Keep up when the times are changing
4.
The quality of the state presses with cognitive unease A flat, dull, and tired servant aims to please They drop the arrogant façade as we press on Carry with me this smirk we often use to see The office asks us for privacy over this disbelief While some try to plan for greater control With the fighting infiltration they fail to achieve They return to the scene with their portfolio For there is no more that can be done Do they require more fine tunes? For this, what are we going to do? When they utter this platitude For this, what are we going to do?
5.
In The News 03:39
Its not my time to give away all this love Do what you're going to do You know I can't think about the old ways Everything comes back again Its all the rage its the latest new craze That's all they're talking about Nothing is real until its in the news Nobody noticed thing Too busy watching themselves Out in the nighttime Give us a hand when you go always together
6.
Everybody knows that we’re fading to the dusk Everybody hears that the words are only staged Everybody turns towards the signing of the leans Everybody knows that we’re left here on our own Every time they came we all felt the same Celebrate away for it will never be this way Everybody says that you will change the page Nobody can be so wrong all this time Eclipsed away, walking in the tubes Little we will say, as the pictures are bought away For this is the anthem where your heart should be For this is the anthem where your heart should be Everybody knows that the world has turned to fire Anytime they laugh the singles will let out Take another shine to the shots that we gathered Everybody knows that we’re left here on our own Eclipsed away, walking in the tubes Little we will say, as the pictures are bought away For this is the anthem where your heart should be For this is the anthem where your heart should be Let this time shine on Let this time shine on Let this time shine on Let this time shine on For all we need is to catch our breath For all we care is for silence For all we want is time to rest
7.
These modern times, guides the way After the play, the actors abbreviate These modern times, guides the way Part-time extremists will laugh on These modern times, guides the way After the play, the actors abbreviate These modern times, guides the way Part-time extremists will laugh on The kids will play, with all to see Binary equations, will cave in Artists are behind, the world’s worst plans
8.
Roll out the flag you don't want to miss it If you can't see it it never existed All hands on deck for the great unveiling See for yourself how the system is failing These are the problems that won't go away Not by the end of the day Out in the west there's a big storm that's coming Nail down roof and hold on to something It all flies away at the speed of sound Just try to keep your feet on the ground These are the problems that won't go away Not by the end of the day When its all said and done and the dust has all cleared This change has already begun But its never too late to convince everyone we're the same
9.
Stay outside for this prototype Is about to malfunction April gives way to the warning of this escalation The secrets will be inflamed with this constant chatter Secrets will be inflamed with the Adjustment Bureaus Let’s recap while we’re exposed Time to recall all these warnings will be unexpected The world’s most famous spy catchers Delivers their manifestos It’s time to pen an emotional response For all the flagrant preservations Let the festivals end these constant celebrations Let’s recap while we’re exposed Time to recall all these warnings will be unexpected And the tablets will remain broken And the bureaus will remain adjusted
10.
Let the day shine on First look at the right words Satin jackets from a magazine What are the odds that we’re too old We’ve all been there again and again You know you’re born to forget Clever were all those years Say goodbye to our great friends Let’s imagine looking forward The ideas will follow through Breaking the mold won’t hurt What are the odds that we’re too young We’ve all been there again and again You know you’re born to forget Clever were all those years Say goodbye to our great friends Let the day shine on You know you’re born to forget
11.
Am I Worried 03:52
Am I looking for something that isn't there ? Do I want to find anything ? The words to describe it are fleeting These thoughts are just stuck in my head Am I worried about it ? When I can't find a way to get past it I forget about everything else I just want to know what I've got to know But these thoughts are still stuck in my head Am I worried about it ? Telling you something that you already know Things are always so magnified When they're all that you have in mind I don't want to waste my time any more
12.
Can you chat through this mess we have Colorful comrades on the weekends are gone Weapons are coughing during this dancing game Left wing rodeo and a bag chips keep coming on Blinding shines, finding times, heading home Blocking kinds, typing fines, growing away Blinding shines, finding times, heading home Blocking kinds, typing fines, growing away Time to predict our vitamin intake After your playful casket is put away The original manager is too far gone The buffalo are coming home once again Blinding shines, finding times, heading home Blocking kinds, typing fines, growing away Blinding shines, finding times, heading home Blocking kinds, typing fines, growing away Prairie homes are burnt for play as we watch this escapade The wolves have churned through the mist as the crowd leads the way Is it time to for us to quit? Since the herd never showed up The nuts will be the last to leave, so as might as well just resign

about

Medical Maps are: Afshin Beheshti, Eric Provonsil, Greg Mahoney, Phil Mahoney, and Ethan Herschman.

Medical Maps is a band from the Boston area with a sound that crosses many genres. With touches of prog rock, indie pop, post rock and folk the material has something to offer to a diverse set of listeners. The signature sounds of the band are the swirling Fender Rhodes of Afshin Beheshti and the slide guitar work of Eric Provonsil. Many songs feature both while others have more of a rock sound with Beheshti switching to guitar. He has performed with Shore Leave, Divided Body and solo project The Afrosheens, playing many other instruments including mandolin and saxophone. Provonsil has previously employed his slide stylings with Tony the Bookie Orchestra and Broken River Prophet and is a frequent guest of the Thalia Zedek band. His mid 2000's band The Subject shared many a bill with Shore Leave planting the seeds for a future collaboration.

Beheshti and Provonsil began writing songs together in 2012. After several rhythm section permutations the lineup solidified in 2017 with the addition of Greg Mahoney and Ethan Herschman on bass and drums respectively. Mahoney is the bassist for garage rockers Triple Thick. Herschman is the drummer who has also plays in many bands including Bunch of Jerks, Lars Vegas, and many more. In 2019, Phil Mahoney has joined Medical Maps to add an extra layer of guitar. The group put their debut album, Soft on Crime, out in 2017. And now they are releasing their second album call Be Whelmed. Medical Maps’ second album is a fresh new sound which will unite fans of all genres and will provide hours of listening enjoyment for all.
